- Makeup Artist Alana J. was born in MD, at a young age she found interest in makeup while playing in her mothers makeup. As she grew older she began her career in makeup four years ago when she applied for a position with MAC Cosmetics. After working for MAC for two years, she then realized she wanted to pursue a career as a celebrity makeup artist. Since leaving MAC, she has been freelancing working with various celebrity makeup artists such as Reggie Wells & Oslyn Holder. She has also worked with numerous photographers shooting across the US.
